In my artistic journey, I embrace a unique approach to painting, cultivating a rich dialogue between function and narrative. My work emerges from a profound connection with my personal experiences and an unyielding commitment to self-expression.

The genesis of each painting is intertwined with a dynamic creative process. Side by side with five companion pieces, I embarked on a multisensory exploration. Guided by the captivating allure of a black-and-white film, charcoal met paper on five distinct sheets. In a daring twist, I relinquished control, drawing without glancing down, immersing myself in the interplay of shadows cast by the film. Simultaneously, I sought to capture the ephemeral images reflected within each scene, etching their essence onto the awaiting canvas.

But the transformative journey was just beginning. The relief drawings, pulsating with their own narratives, were torn into four quadrants. A symphony of fragments ensued, as I intermixed and rearranged these elements, birthing five entirely new compositions. Each fragmented piece told a story of its own, resonating with the dance of chance and intention.

To further breathe life into these captivating narratives, I embarked on a voyage of color. With a discerning eye, I selected distinct color palettes for each painting. Brush in hand, I painted the evocative imagery onto the canvas, layer upon layer. The rhythmic strokes, guided by my palette knife, became a conduit for unspoken words and repressed emotions—an intuitive response to the depth of my experiences.
